Data protection is an important concern of Houzy AG. Houzy is expressly committed to the protection and lawful collection, processing and use of user data. By accessing the Houzy website, you declare your agreement with these data protection provisions. Houzy is expressly committed to the protection and lawful collection, processing and use of user data. The following provisions explain the manner and purpose for which Houzy collects, processes and uses data.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on your data carrier and save certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. This makes it easier to use the Houzy website, for example by not having to repeat certain entries each time you visit. The data is only stored in order to best adapt our offer to your wishes and to make the Houzy website as comfortable as possible for you.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Each time the pages of the Houzy website are accessed, usage data is transmitted by the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, called server log files. The data records stored contain the following information: Date and time of access, name of the page accessed, IP address, referral URL, the amount of data transferred as well as product and version information of the browser used, surfing behaviour on the Houzy website. The IP addresses of users are deleted or anonymised after the end of use, so that individual details about personal or factual circumstances can no longer be assigned to a specific or identifiable natural person, or only with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and labour. This log file information is analysed in anonymised form in order to improve the user-friendliness of the Houzy website and Houzy's services and to identify and correct any errors.

Web Analysis

Houzy uses the following third-party tracking technologies to improve the Houzy website: Google Analytics is a service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies to enable Google to analyse how our website is used (e.g. evaluating the use of the Houzy website). The information collected by the cookie about the use of our website is stored anonymously by Google. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place on the basis of legal regulations or within the framework of commissioned data processing. Personal Data

Personal data is information about the factual or personal circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, name, telephone number, address and all other information that users provide when registering on the Houzy website. Personal data is collected, stored and processed for the use of our services as a registered user. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer used for the purpose for which it was collected or the user makes a claim for deletion.

Third party service providers

Houzy only transfers your personal data to third party service providers who process it for Houzy in order to provide Houzy services. When using third party service providers, we enter into agreements that provide for appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.

User account

For users who register on the Houzy website, Houzy sets up password-protected direct access to their user information stored with Houzy. Here, users can view the Houzy services they use at any time and manage their user information. Registered users undertake to treat their personal access data confidentially and not to make it available to any unauthorised third party. Houzy accepts no liability for misused passwords.

Secure data transmission

Houzy uses technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, accidental or intentional manipulation, loss and destruction.

Right to information

Users have the right to request information about the stored data and, if necessary, to have data/address evaluations corrected, blocked or deleted. No information will be given by telephone or requests for deletion accepted.
