The following terms and conditions serve to clearly regulate the use of the Houzy AG website. By accessing the Houzy website, you acknowledge the legally binding effect of the Terms of Use and Conditions (Terms of Use) stated herein.

Contents of the Houzy website

Any content or services on the Houzy Website are for informational purposes only. Houzy warrants that it has taken all reasonable care to ensure the accuracy, completeness, availability and reliability of the information and services on the Houzy Website. However, no warranty is implied or expressed, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy or completeness of the basic data evaluated, warranties of copyright and other rights, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The information provided on the Houzy Website does not relieve users of the need to make their own decisions or assessments. Houzy reserves the right to change any content without prior notice. Houzy is under no obligation to update or keep current the information contained herein.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Houzy and its employees shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, liability, cost, claim, expense or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of this website. This also applies to damages arising from negligence or where Houzy was aware of the possibility of such damages.

All right, title and interest (including copyrights, trademarks, patents and other intellectual property and other rights) in and to all information and content (including all text, data, graphics and logos) on the Houzy Website shall remain with Houzy or the relevant rights holder. Individual pages and/or portions of the Houzy Website may be printed for personal or internal use only, and only to the extent that such printout contains all applicable copyright and other proprietary notices. Users are prohibited from, among other things, modifying, copying, transmitting, posting, displaying, performing, reproducing, publishing, licensing, framing, transferring, creating derivative works from, or otherwise exploiting for any commercial or public purpose, any information, text, graphics, images, video clips, directories, databases or listings derived from the Houzy Website, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Houzy. Unless otherwise authorised by Houzy, you may not systematically retrieve Content from the Houzy Website for the purpose of directly or indirectly compiling a collection or database or directory.

Salvatory clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be invalid or unenforceable or become invalid or unenforceable after conclusion of the contract, the validity of the remainder of the agreement shall not be affected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision the effects of which come closest to the economic objective pursued by the contracting parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision.

General business terms and conditions for partners/third parties

Houzy AG acts in cooperation with third parties (such as craftsmen and mortgage providers). Houzy AG may receive remuneration under certain circumstances if the user enters into a contract with third parties. It should also be noted that Houzy AG is not obliged to facilitate such a contract / protect the user's interests and does not have any influence on the decision of third parties.

Place of jurisdiction

This contractual relationship shall be governed by Swiss law, to the exclusion of the provisions of international private law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.

Our Privacy Policy

Data protection

Data transfer by the intermediary to third parties is excluded, unless they are product partners. Only with the consent of the user can data be passed on to certified craftsmen or realtors.

The partner companies may only use the contact data in connection with the submitted product or service enquiry. The partner companies are strictly prohibited from passing on or selling the contact data to other companies. The intermediary shall point this out to the partner companies. However, it is the responsibility of the respective partner companies to ensure that data protection is observed at all times.

For interested parties from Switzerland, the collection, processing and storage of data is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Data Protection Act.

When the address is entered, geoimpact automatically supplies data on the year of construction, property area, roof type and number of storeys from public sources. Any corrections to this data are fed back to geoimpact for the purpose of product improvement and expansion. If geoimpact does not provide a data set, no data set will be returned. Additional data will not be released under any circumstances.
