Costs for tinsmiths and sheet metal work

Tinsmiths charge 70 to 120 Swiss francs an hour. For simpler tinsmith work, calculate with these guideline rates: 90 to 120 Swiss francs per meter for a gutter, 30 to 50 Swiss francs per meter for a snow guard and 300 to 400 Swiss francs for a chimney covering. A skylight costs 1,500 to 10,000 Swiss francs, depending on size and design, and a standard dormer window costs at least 4,000 Swiss francs (wood) to 6,000 Swiss francs (polyester), depending on the material, plus about 1,500 Swiss francs extra if your roof is tiled.
